Direct Rim Drive defined
Our Hero E bike is rooted in stacked efficiencies beginning with ultra smooth rolling friction instead of sliding friction like gear teeth. The out-runner motors multiplies torque 13 times through the Direct Rim Drive. It has no moving links like a chain. It is the first 99% efficiency e bike drive system. It feels like serious G force off the line, whatever season you love to shred in!
Hero is as capable as Pop's old time tractor for hauling loads. The Direct Rim Drive makes 104nm, unbelievable torque. A custom nylatron sprocket drives the circumference of our wheel wearing in instead of out.
The kinetic energy, momentum from riding is transformed into electrical power from regenerative coasting, pedaling and braking at 80% efficiency. Not the typical 10% regen braking, due to a top secret charge circuit coupled with the Rim Drive. Energy stacks up just from pedaling!
